EPIC Swim co is a swimmer-led, channel swim pilot company based in Penarth. We can guide, coach and support you on a truly EPIC swim across the Bristol Channel.

EPIC was originally set up as a collaboration between two passionate sea and channel swimmers, commercial boat pilots, and all-round adventurers, Tom Chapman and Bryce Davies.

After a very successful couple of years, we have expanded our operation, with EPIC looking after the Eastern end of the channel with the hugely popular Penarth to Clevedon, Penarth to Weston and Escape from Flat Holm routes, and the new MONSTER SWIMS company based in Porthcawl looking after the Western end of the channel operating the mighty Porthcawl to Glenthorne and Swansea to Ilfracombe routes.

We have a wealth of knowledge and experience of swimming in the sea, in particular the Bristol Channel, so who better to guide you across this incredible body of water with the worlds 2nd highest tidal range.
